75 years contributing to our community
We have created many ways of supporting worthwhile causes, both at a company and staff level. Our Social Committee is active in planning many different activities throughout the year, ranging from a curling evening to bowling, canoeing, and many others. The nominal fee charged for participants is earmarked to our designated charity and the cost for the activity borne by the company.
Over the years, we have contributed many thousands of dollars to local children’s hospitals. Creating harmony and pride in the company we find ways to contribute small and large.
Dedicated company paid volunteer days. We encourage our employees to make a positive impact in our community. We organize one-off volunteer days with local food shelves, schools, or organizations.
We provide many charities with supplies for specific fundraising events. Annual contributions of food items are collected at holiday time for the less fortunate and other endeavours are supported.
A fun tradition is our annual gift auction. Any gifts received by our staff from suppliers, etc. are offered up to auction at the holiday closing luncheon with all funds earmarked for charity.
