THE CHALLENGE

Given the diverse range of products they offer; our customer required a labeler and printer system that could facilitate quick and seamless label changes. The ability to switch effortlessly between clear and opaque labels posed an additional challenge, as it entailed working with two different materials and necessitated a more complex setup and machinery.

With the expectation of introducing multiple new products in the future, adaptability was a key factor for their chosen machine. Furthermore, the limited space in their production area added an extra dimension to the considerations for equipment selection.

THE SOLUTION

With the expectation of introducing multiple new products in the future, adaptability was a key factor for their chosen machine. Furthermore, the limited space in their production area added an extra dimension to the considerations for equipment selection. Doverco conducted a needs analysis for the client in order to propose the perfect solution that would enable them to increase their production and performance while considering the constraint of limited space. The Nita labeler XP100 wrap, a small machine, very performant and easy to use, combined with a Markem Imaje 9330 printer was the perfect solution for their needs.

The Nita XP100 All Servo Prism Wrap (Spin-In-Place) is the most technologically advanced label application system designed for precision orientation and application of clear and opaque labels to round bottles and other round containers. Servo and Pneumatic managed belts, a built-in orientation system (cameras and sensors) and stainless-steel gates control your containers and apply labels with marksman accuracy.

The Markem-Imaje 9330 is a versatile cost-efficient inkjet that prints for more than 8,000 hours non-stop. The specially developed Intelli’Ink portfolio ensures optimal coder performance and flexibility when coding different packing materials.
